Message As for your EGR issue, you know the diaphragm in the EGR is
working because it moves and holds a vacuum, so that's good.
I take it you applied some power to the solenoid and it
checked out, when you pull the plenum next, go ahead and
change out the vacuum lines to the valve and the solenoid,
check the FSM to make sure they are routed properly. I
believe only the California car had an EGR temp sensor, as well
as the 96.

For your fuel pressure issue, you should hold some residual fuel
pressure longer than 2 minutes. Whenever you pull your
plenum to do injectors, you might as well do them all, as well
as the o-rings and insulators. While your in there you should
change that fuel line at the front of the rail if you haven't
already, its a real pain to get to with the plenum on.
